This year's featured speaker has participated in the development and debate of almost every major public policy issue of the last three decades.

First elected to national office as South Dakota's voice in the United States House of Representatives in 1978, Daschle went on to become one of the longest serving Senate Democratic leaders in history and one of only two to serve twice as both Majority and Minority Leader.

He is the founder and CEO of The Daschle Group, a full-service strategic advisory firm that advises clients on a broad array of economic, policy and political issues.

Special guest Tim Johnson's long political career spanned consecutive terms in the South Dakota state legislature (1979-87), the US House of Representatives (1987-97) and the United States Senate (1997-2015).

Johnson is the last Democrat to have held statewide office in South Dakota.
Both senators will appear remotely via Zoom meeting.
Social hour begins at 6:00pm at 1737 S Cleveland Avenue, dinner served at 6:30. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available, and attendees are welcome to bring their own beverage. Remote speakers begin at 7:00. Please purchase meal tickets by 12:00pm (noon) Monday, May 24.
